Officinalis
Hermès
Inspired by my grandmother Colette, who taught me to paint with watercolors using garden flowers as our models, this window is rooted in the intimacy of shared moments. Together, we composed bouquets and studied color, texture, and light, lessons that shaped my eye as an illustrator.
The window displays reveal the imagined studio of a botanical artist: a space where science meets sensitivity. Drawings of flowers and seashells unfold in delicate compositions, echoing the precision of botanical drawings. Hidden within the petals and buds are subtle equestrian details a nod to the heritage of Hermès.
Officinalis is a tribute to flowers, drawing, and a hommage to my grandmother.
