This illustration was born from a journey to Greece, where I discovered the beauty of the ancient frescoes of Akrotiri, on the island of Santorini. These patterns, created more than 4,000 years ago, inspired me to imagine a dialogue between past and present.
Motifs and flowers have always fascinated me, and as someone of Greek origin, this creation also carries a personal resonance, a way of honoring my roots.
The illustration was printed in Paris using the risography technique at Quintal studio, in a limited edition of 30 copies, each one carefully crafted by hand
